Keep It Public - Send Your Video Testimony
Stop the Senate Land Sell-Off — Add Your Face to the Fight
The House heard us loud and clear when thousands of hunters, anglers, and public-land owners sent video testimonies—and the land-sale scheme was stripped from the bill.
Now Sen. Mike Lee and allies on the Senate Energy & Natural Resources Committee have revived the threat, mandating the sale of up to 3 million acres in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming under the banner of “affordable housing.”
Those acres include prime Bureau of Land Management and U.S. Forest Service habitat—places where we hunt deer, chase elk, cast flies, and take our kids camping.

What You Can Do in Two Minutes
-
Enter your address in the action tool so we can route your video straight to both of your U.S. senators.
-
Tap “Record.” You’ve got 60 seconds (or less) to tell them why this sell-off must die.
-
Hit “Send.” Your video hits their inbox—no form letters, just real constituents.
Make Your Minute Count
-
Start strong: “Senators, my name is __, from __, and I’m asking you to kill the public-land sell-off.”
-
Share a quick story: The elk camp you return to each fall, the trout stream that shaped your childhood, the economic boost public-land recreation gives your town.
-
Ask for the fix: “Oppose any budget deal that sells our public lands, and strip those sections of the ENR title from the reconciliation bill.”
-
Close with conviction: “Public lands belong to all Americans—keep them in public hands.”
Why It Matters—Again
-
Wildlife & habitat: Fragmented ranges mean fewer tags, fewer birds, and broken migration corridors.
-
Access & tradition: Losing even 0.5 percent of federal lands severs trailheads, river put-ins, and the traditions we pass to our kids.
-
False promise of ‘affordable housing’: The bill sets no affordability rules and sells at “fair market” rates—developers win, the public loses.
