Some of the biggest opportunities for California hunters are coming to life this year. The new Bear Conservation and Management Plan has been published, and now it is up to our community to steer regulatory changes that benefit ecosystems, prey species, hunting opportunities, and increased harvest throughout the state of California. 

The May 15, 2025, Wildlife Resource Committee meeting will feature two critical topics that we need to show up for - in person and via email letters to the Commission. 

- Bear Hunting and regulatory changes will be on the WRC agenda

- Coyote "take," including hunting, depredation removal, and pest control, will be on the agenda.
